"Ok, let me start by saying, this gun is a BEAST. It is basically a perfect replica of a DDMK18, and I’ve seen lots of real ones. It has a metal upper, hand guard, and buffer tube, but polymer grip and stock, which honestly, is a pro in my opinion. It gives it a great weight balance. Ok, onto the stats.again, it is a beast. The mosfet gives it a slight trigger delay, but nothing too crazy. The next thing is the RPS. I’m hitting 18-20+ RPS, which is absolutely insane for an M4 of this price. Sounds like a vector, and shoots like a Pit Viper. fast, and dead accurate. It’s so powerful, that I seriously feel a slight kick whenever I’m full autoing the ever loving life out of a rental. Ok, FPS and gripe time. I bought the 350 FPS version, but was chrono-ing at around 365 with a 7.8 butterfly. However, this was a MAJOR issue (the battery not the FPS). When I went to pick up the gun, I realized id run out of Deans style batteries, so I needed a new one for it, and they suggested the 7.8. HOWEVER!!!! It turns out that IT CANNOT RUN PROPERLY ON ANYTHING LOWER THAN 9.4! If you only read part of this, read that. The MOSFET does not like 7.8s and will shut off after around 20 shots and have to recalibrate. Before I figured this out though, I had turned it in for a repair to try and fix whatever the problem was. This took almost a month, even though it was brand new, and was under warranty, and then they gave it back to me and said “all’s well” but it clearly wasn’t. I went through another weekend without my new rifle and had to resort (again) to my five year old Lancer Tactical LT19 (which had never, EVER, had a single problem in five years of straight ABUSE) when I finally figured out it that it was the battery, I had spent a month and a half, and 100$+ trying to figure out what was wrong. Now I’m running it with a EMG 11.1 and it’s working like an absolute charm. Time for pros and cons!
PROS
— metal upper, barrel, and buffer
— weight. It’s a hefty boy for a SBR (could be a con for some)
— too much rail space
— crazy rate of fire
— dead accurate
— pretty good MOSFET for 250$
— takes almost any magazines under the sun, but not great for all (running K120s)
— no need to by a sling mount (not sure if it’s only this gun, but most of my other don’t have an integrated mount)
— fits 14mm neg tracer units and shoots the tracers great
CONS
— again, kind of heavy (pro for me)
— doesn’t take 7.8s, 8.3s, or anything other than 9.6 or 11.1 (I say doesn’t take, but I really mean it doesn’t work GREAT with them. It WILL shut off)
— pretty sharp edges tbh, I already cut one of my teammates with the front of my hand guard.
— FPS kind of varies gun to gun, but once it locks in on a range, it stays there.
— pain in the butt to get the stock muzzle brake off
OVERALL!!
Insanely good mid tier gun. Crazy price-to-performance. Beast like rate of fire. Dead accurate once the hop up is tuned to your liking (and greased). Takes most M4 magazines well, but some smaller ones will have to take a light smack to the bottom to stay in. Shoots tracers great, and has a good threading minus the stock muzzle break.
I can confidently recommend this gun to anyone looking to get an extremely reliable second or third rifle.
I will also be leaving a review relative to the service on the yelp page for the Dallas outpost.

"I recently got my hands on a new rifle, and I have to say, it's been an awesome experience so far. I purchased the M4A1, initially intending to get the MK18, but I ended up with the M4A1 by accident. Honestly, it doesn't faze me at all because, internally, the two models are quite similar.
After testing the rifle out for the first time today, I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. The range and accuracy exceeded my expectations, especially considering I was a bit skeptical at first. I took it out with an 11.1 LiPo battery, and let me tell you, full-auto mode is an absolute blast! The rate of fire is impressive, making it a thrilling experience on the field.
One thing I've noticed, though, is that the rifle doesn't seem to handle .20g BBs very well—they're just too light for this setup. I've had much better results with .28g BBs, which seem to offer the right balance for accuracy and consistency. I'm planning to experiment with .25g BBs soon to see how they perform; I have a feeling they might be a good middle ground.
To sum it up, I highly recommend this rifle for beginners looking to get into the sport. Its performance, paired with a great price point of around $300, makes it an excellent choice for anyone starting out.
**Pros:**
- Great accuracy: The precision of this rifle is impressive, making it easy to hit targets at various distances.
- Excellent range: I was surprised by how far I could shoot accurately, which adds a lot of fun to the experience.
- Awesome rate of fire: With the right battery, the full-auto feature is fantastic, keeping the excitement alive during gameplay.
- Great price: At $300, it offers fantastic value for the quality you receive.
**Cons:**
- None that I can really find so far; it performs well in all aspects!
Overall, I can't recommend this rifle enough, especially for those just starting out! It's a solid investment that provides a lot of fun and performance for the price.

"W first gun (not my first but bought it for my brother for his first) its expensive. my hop was good so was my brothers. i put a polarstar jack in it and it terrorizes the local rentals and anyone for that matter, but some upgrades are hard to find like the inner barrel (i had to run a 250mm) but thats only for 6.01 inner barrels other than that solid gun.

"Amazing gun! Super sturdy and heavy ( I ran a polymer gun for 3 years ) Only complaint is hopup, which is the most common issue. Replace it and it runs like butter!

"Great gun, I’ve had it for a year or two now and it still works as good as new. Shoots around 13 rps when a 7.4v 2500 lipo and around 28-30 rps with 11.1v 5000s. 400 fps version usually shoots around 365-370 FPS with .25s and around 370-400 with .30s and higher.
Pros:
Great for the price
Good MOSFET
Easily able to change the spring for your field’s FPS limit
Great base gun if you are looking to upgrade and mod.
CONS:
Most mags are a bit wobbly in the receiver.
There is a noticeable wobble between the upper receiver and hand guard.

"This thing is amazing. I put in an m135 spring and a Maxx sport hopup and this thing rips. Shoots straight, snappy trigger, range is great, and its not too heavy. Great gun 10/10 recomend if you change the hopup.

"This is my favorite primary I carry when I play I love the QBS by cyma I wish more companies did it, I played with it stock for While he for upgrading none of the parts Broke on me just wanted to make the performance even better. Out of the box it really is sold very snappy if I was to compare it to anything it’s just under the Avalon v2 out of the box.

"I love this gun. The weapon works well and hits hard. Its nice and heavy and when you get the right attachments for it, its a killing machine. I'm thinking about hooking an HPA system to it because I hate the battery port. I would say the only con is the battery port since its hard to hook my batteries up. But all in all its a great gun and even my local airsoft store said its a top notch gun. I can say this gun will last me a lifetime.

"This guns build quality is absolutely amazing.
The only gripe I would have is that the hop up is not the best, I have put a flat hop bucking and nub in and it’s mediocre now.
Other than that the gun is awesome I use a 7.4 titan lipo and the trigger is super snappy and rate of fire is good.
I personally swapped my rail system out with the Daniel Defense 4inch kit that’s in evike so I can use it easier indoors and all day because this rifle is HEAVY.
Overall would recommend it if you’re looking for great external build quality.

"Cycles and sounds just like my other two cyma platinums. Haven't cracked open the gearbox but assuming it's 13:1 gears short stroked 4 teeth like the other plats with some of the best shimming out of the box I've seen. These benefit from an o-ring nozzle upgrade right out of the box but perform fine without doing so. Haven't gotten a chance to test it out in depth as it comes stock and I most likely wont bother before rhopping it etc. I've seen others say the stock nub is soft and can lead to a lack of hop. If you want to use it out of the box as is and want to run slightly heavier ammo just throw in a stiffer nub. This has a functioning bolt catch. One thing I noticed is that the gearbox shell isn't coated black like my other plats. Instead it's silver and seems to match my brothers cyma sr16 gearbox shell with functioning bolt catch.
Externally the gun is worth the money alone. The dark earth model just looks insane once you get the ugly orange flash hider out of there and pop a stubby on it or whatever you're going for. Can't speak for the reliability of the etu but again it will be upgraded anyway. These are things you should consider if you don't plan on upgrading it though. Basically buy it if you're into the DD mk18 look because this thing pops differently than your average DD repro rail thrown on an m4.

"Very solid construction for metal rail upper and lower receiver
Great pairing with the 13:1 gears and 16 tpa motor and the micro switch trigger is very nice. Great FPS and ROF. Also the trigger board can be replaced with a gate THANKS YOU Cyma.
With all that been said the Hop Up unit is trash and the nozzle should have been upgraded.
Two thumbs up field test and worked perfectly, Very happy with my MK18 for under $300

"Pros:
1. solid external build
2. best quick spring change system
3. 13.1 short stroked gears
4. full metal rack piston w/ metal head
5. properly ported cylinder
6. aluminum cylinder head
7. rotary hopup
8. sturdy midcap
9. 6.03 inner barrel
10.etu trigger unit
11. deans
12. no stock wobble
13. neo magnet motor
14. nicely shimmed
15. ball bearing spring guide
Cons
1. hop-up turned all the way up hardly give any hop
2. cheap plastic nozzle- no o-ring
3. does not come with black flashhider
Recommendations.
1. buying a spare nozzle with o-ring
2. new bucking / nub
Conclusion.
Cyma has set the new standard with their platinum series m4 , overwhelmingly are the most recommended brand and bang for ur buck for both ak and m4 platforms. Usually i have to replace parts on high end guns but the internals in this gun is practically perfect stock aside from a new bucking and nozzle. Even the iron sight where not cheap at all and are actually one of the most if not the best built sights on a gun out of the box. Trigger response is very snappy and a high ROF ....will be installing DSG gears to use a 7.4 lipo to ease the stress on the ETU
