E&L Airsoft AK-12 RAF Gen. 2 Essential Series AEG Rifle w/ Folding Stock (Color: Black)

"Wow. Just wow. This is the best AK-12 i have felt. It doesn't have the fancy internals of the Arcturus or the G&G version, however the quality of the externals is something to be marveled at. The only complaints i have about this product are that upon receiving the gun, the charging handle wasn't' set inside the gun properly, so i had to remove the dust cover and set it onto its proper track, the AK-12 mag fitment is rather wobbly, and the folding stock has a slight bit of wobble but nothing serious. It shoots like any E&L gun, decent stock hop up unit, decent trigger, good sounding gearbox, (No wheezing or other noises), the mags feed well, and reloading is a dream. overall id give it a 9.5/10, the mag wobble is bit annoying but nothing detrimental to performance.

"This is my second airsoft gun and I'm in love with it, it's a very solid gun that shoots pretty good out of the box. But I have a couple of gripes about it.

1. Mag wobble, this one is common on this gun, and seems to be mostly with the stock mag only, since I bought an AKM mag from E&L and it pretty nicely

2. If you use an 11.1v battery there is a solid chance that the motor will overheat depending on the battery so I'd say just stick with a high MAH 7.4-9.6v

Otherwise it's an amazing gun for the price!

"Bought this through an expo. This was the first gun I had bought as an intro airsofter. The rifle is definitely a honorable replica and I have fun on the field every time I play. Here's some pros and cons;

Pros:

Rifle is accurate, and using .20 bbs definitely is recommended if you wanna shoot upwards to 400 fps. I run .25 just for a little more weight.

Rifle is sturdy and is hefty. Being a replica it is made of steel and will have that "real" feeling to it

Cons (these are my cons, they shouldn't really be considered);

The selector switch gets loose if shooting for too long and will not be able to change select mode if not tightened properly (can be fixed with better screws)

Magazine well and mags have wobble to them, they aren't as sturdy in the mag well as some of the other E&L AKs I have fired, but it helps with the plastic spacer present in all models

The steel receiver and parts will rust over time if not taken care of properly. You wanted a authentic replica? Now you gotta deal with taking care of it like a real gun. Unless you want to have time and your adventures give it character

All in all I love this gun, it's definitely taken a hold in my collection for the foreseeable future and currently am getting upgrade for it as I write this.

Definitely a good choice for any first time airsofters if it fits their budget.

"It’s a nice gun definitely better than the Lct ak 12. Gun shoots very well out of the box, but it doesn’t have the 2 round burst option and it did not come with the right manual it’s pretty much a generic ak but fancy I was expecting high from it but pretty disappointed
